Selena Gomez has been very vocal about her mental health struggles over the years.
She has openly discussed her mental health challenges with depression, anxiety, and most recently, her bipolar diagnosis.
The star credits her success in battling mental illness to family, friends, and therapy.
Now, in her pursuit to help others with mental health issues, she has created a platform called WonderMind!
See The Intro Below:
Selena started the mental health website- WonderMind with her mother Mandy Teefly, and Daniella Pierson.
On ET Canada, Selena discussed the limitations of mental health therapy:
“There are places where people go when they need help, and it’s unfortunate that they cost ridiculous amounts of money,” Gomez explained. “But [as with] Planned Parenthood, there’s a place for women to feel okay and to feel understood, and I want that for mental health. I think it’s so important and I can’t stress enough how much I care and how much I really, really want people to be understood, seen, and heard.”
However, this site should NOT be a replacement for mental health therapy!
This can be a place where you turn for support and communicate with people who will have a unique understanding of what you are going through.
What I really like about the website is that everything is completely FREE of charge! All you have to do is sign up with your email address. Then, you will have access to information about changing your mindset, and overcoming stigma, all in a supportive environment.
I think you should give this website a try if you struggle with your mental health and are looking for a supportive digital environment- Give WonderMind a try!!!
The WonderMind podcast will be coming soon! Until then, check out what the founders of WonderMind think their platform can support you with. Play The Video Below:
